Two kinds of English Intensive Camp during winter vacation period

Language Education Center at Changwon National University (CWNU) is looking for part-time instructors. Please check out two of the available jobs below and you are able to choose one or both of them.

Changwon National University (CWNU) Language Education Center (LEC) is looking for energetic, dedicated and passionate English Camp Instructors who are interested in teaching elementary students during the summer vacation.

1.Duration: From Monday, December 26th, 2011 to Friday, January 20th, 2012
- Selected applicants must attend a one day workshop which will be held on Saturday Afternoon, December 17th, 2011.

2.Position: Part-time instructor of CWNU Junior English Intensive Camp

3.Teaching Hours: 9am ~ 4pm (Monday through Friday) + camp meeting (Every Wednesdays after school)

4.Remuneration / Compensation
-Teaching Wage: KRW 4,200,000
-Housing Allowance: KRW 300,000 (Accommodation will not be provided)
-Visa Allowance: Domestic (KRW 200,000) / Abroad (KRW 300,000) (Not applicable if you don't need to get a new visa)
-3~5% of labor tax will be charged
-No air ticket from abroad provided
-Lunch will be provided (Teachers have to be with the students during lunch.)

5.Qualification
-Must have Bachelor or higher degree (English, Education or its related major preferred)
-TESOL certificate or teaching related certificates preferred
-Good at adapting to Korean culture, good communication, and enthusiastic team play
-At least 1 year of teaching experience preferred
-Various artistic talents preferred (acting, music, dance, arts & crafts, movie, sports etc.)

Must hold valid visa; Temporary Employment (C-4), Professorship (E-1)
Foreign language Instructor (E-2), Spouse Visa (F-2)
* Those who are currently teaching at other universities or public schools(E-1 or E-2) will be given preference, provided that they could submit the agreement letter from the employer (the letter is visa requirement), and must get a permission for adding place of employment from Immigration Office.
* A criminal background / record check is required for those who apply for a C4 visa. Please inquire with the relevant authorities in your country regarding document processing time.

6.Job Description
-Prepare and provide ESL lessons (Speaking & Listening, Reading & Writing) to students
-Teach content-based subjects (Math, Geography, Science, Social Studies)
-Prepare and conduct special events (Group Building Activities, Quiz Show, Goodbye Party, Drama Performance, etc)
-Attend teachers' meetings when required
-Submit lesson plans and teaching reports
-Guide students at field trips (Science Center, Wetland, etc.)
-Do student evaluation and program evaluation
-Teach not only English but also various English activities such as arts & crafts, music, sports & games, dance, movie, and drama

7.Documents Required

* It is preferred that applicants from Changwon or the surrounding area have a personal interview. Overseas applicants or residents in other parts of Korea will have a phone interview instead.

1.Specification
-Position: Part-time instructor of Language Education Center
-Numbers to be invited: 00
-Contract Period: from January 30 through February 17(3weeks), there might be orientation for teachers before beginning of the camp.

2.Qualification
-Native speaker with a 4-year university degree in the English-speaking counties
-More than a year of ESL teaching experience & Teaching related certificate like a TESOL or TELF etc. preferred.
-Camp teacher experiences preferred

3.Job Description
-To prepare supplements for class and provide ESL lessons of core class and Language activities to Korean university students
-To arrange and prepare special events of camp
-To check students attendance every class and to evaluate students
-To submit class plan and teaching report
-To attend meetings when required
-To submit personalized feedback report for students

4.Teaching Hours: daily teaching hour of core classes, activities and events is approx. 6~8 from Monday through Friday.

5.Benefits
-Hourly wage for class: 40,000won/ for activities and events: 30,000won
-Living supporting: 300,000won
-Visa issuance supporting: 200,000won or 300,000won(Only teacher who come under condition)
-No air ticket from abroad provided
-3-5% of labor tax will be charged

6.Documents required
-Resume including relevant teaching experience, location residence and visa status with photo attached and age clarified
-Copy of university diploma
-Copy of passport
-Copy of teaching certification(Only teacher who come under condition)
-Copy of alien registration card(both front and back side, only teacher who come under condition)

7.The successful applicants will be required to submit;
-Valid visa: C4, E1 & E2, F2, F4 & F5
-Those who apply for C4 visa should be inquired to prepare Verification of university degree with apostille and National criminal background checks with apostille.
