Job Description
We are looking for native speakers who enjoy reading and would like to write summaries of books they read. The summaries should be 1 page long, hence the name One Page Book.
Through reading One Page Books alone, viewers will be able to understand the core content and structure of the book in question. This is valuable for anyone in the industry who wants to know the details of a book without reading it in its entirety or relying on bias reviews. It is also more concise and far less costly than paying a book synopsis writer.
One Page Book writers will follow our existing One Page Book format for consistency. The synopsis should be a final draft as it will be listed on our website ( www.onepagebook.net ). One Page Book writers will be paid for each paid download of the product.
Here’s how it works
Customers pay \500 (USD $0.43) for each One Page Book they download. 30% of the sale will go to the writer, or \150 (USD $0.13). 3,000 downloads times 150 won equals 450,000 won (USD $390), which will be paid to One Page Book writers. There is no limit to how much you can earn on the One Page Books your write.
The payment is also residual. As long as the One Page Book you wrote continues to be downloaded, you will continue to be paid.
The Distribution of One Page Books
One Page Books will be distributed to online and offline bookstores in Korea including Yes24, Interpark, Aladin, Libro, 11th street and Youngpoong. Combined, these stores maintain a nearly 90% market share in Korea.
How you get paid
One Page Books will be posted on our website, and will pay writers according to the number of downloads. We expect the main customers of our one page books will include 30,000 publishers, specialists, and the public. We forecast that at least 10% of the publishers in Korea will be interested in the One Page Books and will pay to download the summarized content of the books. We also have a partnership agreement with major publishers and bookstores in Korea.
