We are seeking qualified and experienced English Visiting Professors to join the Institute of Liberal Education and, the Institute of International Language Education(IILE) of Kongju National University in Gongju. The Institute of Liberal Education administers credit Freshman English Conversation classes, and IILE non-credit English classes and specialty classes for adults and children.

Working Conditions
1. Starting Date: March 1, 2012
2. Teaching Days: 5 days (Monday-Friday)
3. Total Teaching Hours: 25
- 23 hours basic plus 2 hours O.T.
- 20 hours Freshmen Conversation/Practical English
- 5 hours in the Institute of International Language Education program
4. Contract Period: March 1, 2012-February 28, 2013 (1 year) / with possibility of renewal
5. Monthly Salary Range:
- 2.1million won (holders of BA), 2.2million won (holders of MA or Higher)
6. Housing Allowance: 300,000 won/month(On-Campus housing available, BTL Standard)
* If living off campus, monthly allowance(BTL Standard) will be given
7. Overtime: 27,000 won/hour
* Occasional staff meetings and work-related responsibilities will occur.
Benefits and Vacation
1. 50% support for 4 major social insurance policies
2. 8 weeks paid vacation/year (2 weeks each for Summer, Winter, Spring, Autumn)
3. Severance Pay: On completion of the contract, 1 month payment will be given
4. Airfare: After the completion of the contract, will be paid 500,000 won
Qualifications
1. Native English Speaker
2. Holders of BA, MA or Ph.D with at least one year teaching experience at an officially approved institute
- (Preferred) Majored in areas related to education, English education or English literature
- (Preferred) Holders of English education certificates(e.g TESOL/TEFL/CELTA)
3. Must attend a face-to-face interview. (If not, not
considered)
