The Foreign Language Education Center at Sogang University is hiring part-time instructors to start March of 2012.
Qualifications:
1) Applicants must:
a. be native English speakers with F-2, F-4 or F-5 visa; or
b. be Korean-English bilingual speakers with qualifications awarded by a recognised English-medium university.
2) Have an undergraduate degree from an accredited College or University. Applicants with a master’s degree or above and previous teaching experience are preferred; however, any enthusiastic, energetic and professional applicants who are committed to upholding the tradition of educational excellence at Sogang University are encouraged to apply.
Conditions:
1) Contract Period: Spring semester, March – June/July (depending on the program being taught)
2) Hours: 8 – 15 hours a week
3) Payment: 32,000 – 36,000 won/hour
4) Teaching hours: Vary by program; morning or afternoon shift
5) Location: Sinchon, Seoul (Northwest part of Seoul)
