Company Description
About JLS(Jungsang Language School)
JLS has been in the educational field for over 25 years. We currently have 80 schools in Korea, as well as an ESL school in Vancouver, Canada. Unlike most English institutes in Korea.
But rather operate all of our campuses through our central office in Gangnam, Seoul this enables us to maintain a consistent and uniform level of quality and excellence at all our locations.
We use only the finest textbooks from a variety of well-renowned EFL/ESL publishers as well as textbooks and materials from CyberJLS, our own publishing company and audio department. Teachers are provided ongoing support for teaching their classes to ensure both satisfaction and enjoyment in their work.
Direction
Instructor Testimonial
It's been almost a year since we started teaching here in Pyeongtaek at the JLS. When we got here, fresh off JLS training, we felt prepared to teach but didn't know what to expect in terms of the work environment, classes, co-workers, anything really. As the months went by, other hagwon teachers we knew began to quit their jobs, complaining of bad hours, dishonest or patronizing employers, fluctuating schedules and long, ridiculous meetings. Each time we heard somebody complain about his school, we felt more grateful for the place we'd lucked into.
There are so many good things to say about our academy. There are the perks that come with working at any JLS: the materials, the smarter-than-average kids, the salary.
But our campus in particular stands out because of its directors, teachers and staff. The management and head instructor did everything they could to accommodate our needs and make us feel comfortable. We have been treated with nothing but fairness and respect.
If you are looking for a school outside of Seoul but still want easy access to the city, Pyeongtaek JLS has an ideal location. You will have convenient access to several intercity buses that stop on the block, and there is a Seoul Metro stop nearby as well. Finally, because there are many other English institutes and American military troops in the area, it is easy to find other English-speaking people to socialize with.
