Teachers for GAC Program
We are an authorized teaching center of American College Testing (ACT) in Korea, running Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) program, an ACT university preparation program for the students who wish to study abroad. You can visit our website www.hanyanggac.com for further information on our program.
We are in need of qualified teachers for the program as the followings;
Role
1. Teaching role in Seoul
2. Preparing and conducting classes in English as per ACT standards for*
a. Math
b. MIS – MS-Office including MS Access, HTM and Dreamweaver
c. Business
d. Science
e. English Reading & Writing
f. English Listening & Speaking
*All classes are to be conducted in English.
3. Bachelors degree in one of the following disciplines; English, Business, Math, IT, Science.
Master degree would be an advantage
4. Highly responsible, presentable, and strong communication skills
5. Minimum of two years of teaching experience
6. Foreigners: F2, F5 and F4 visa holders
7. Korean nationals who can run classes in English are welcomed.
* Working Conditions
Location: Hanyang University in Seoul campus
Starting Date: January 2012~
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 9:00am – 12:30pm and/or 1:30pm – 5:00pm (3.5 hour classes)
General teaching duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assessing students using evaluation forms
Grading students’ test papers
Attending meetings
Creating timetables/syllabus for the students for each class
Administrative duties.
Salary: 30,000 – 40,000 Korean Won per hour, depending on qualification and experience.
