Kwandong University (IREC, International Relations and Education Institute) seeks qualified candidates for Full-time Professors beginning in March 2009.
The successful applicant will teach credit university English classes, as well as non-credit university classes and/or children's English program. (all together, approximately 18-24 class hours)

**Position : Full-time Professor with M.A degree **
[1] Qualifications
- Native speaker of English (Currently residing in Korea preferred)
- MA degree(Linguistics, Education or English major preferred)
- Minimum one year of teaching experience at university level
- CELTA & TESOL certificate holders preferred
- Be culturally sensitive and flexible
[2] Salary
- 2,400,000 Won per month (16 hours/week) + overtime payment (30,000 won /hour)
[3] The position involves teaching: (all together, approximately 18-24 class hours)
- Credited English courses
- IEC Non-credit English courses
- Children's English program
- Summer/Winter Camp
[4] Contract Period : 1 year (March 2009 - February 2010), renewed upon consent of both parties.
[5] Working hours : 18-24 hours per week. (minimum teaching hours required are 16 per week. Overtime payment for more than 16hrs.)
[6] Vacation : Approx. 3 months paid vacations depending upon the length of vacation programs. Further details will be available during interviews.
[7] Severance payment : One month's severance bonus at the end of successful contract is offered.
[8] Airfare Reimbursement : When you are hired overseas, we will reimburse half the amount of the airfare to you within the 1st month of the contract.

[11] Housing : Teachers are responsible for finding their own housing. A monthly housing allowance of 300,000 won is offered to those who reside in Gangneung.

All applicants must be able to satisfy all current Korean immigration regulations including Criminal record check and Health check.
