Company Description
Any recruiter who tells you they have the best job in Korea, that you can start at your convenience, with the greatest director, best facilities, most wonderful staff and students, is yanking your chain to some degree or another.
Hagwons are only as reliable as the owners, universities only as efficient as the administration, and public schools only as effective as the teachers in them.
BGV is located 10 minutes by foot from Seomyeon, in the heart of Busan. Our building is brand a new high-tech facility (directly at Buam Stn exit 1), which includes:
- The most extensive English library in Busan
- A 388 seat theater
- 52 teaching rooms
* Of which 4 have projectors
* 4 more are 20 seat computer labs
* And 11 more have (50 inch plus) TVs with Internet hookups
- A capacity for 800 students at a time, (with class sizes presently maxing at 16)
- Currently 20 Foreign and 21 Korean Teachers, and counting
We teach situational learning classes, in what might erringly be called ¡¥camp¡¦ style by teachers with Korean experience. We are in fact an English immersion environment, with programs of various lengths running all year. The school is a joint venture between Herald Media company (publishers of the Korea Herald, Korea¡¦s #1 English newspaper), and the Korea News Network. Many of our regular program students are excused from their regular semester Public School classes to attend our immersion programs.
We are looking for instructors that can be ready to work in September, or sooner, though other applicants will be considered. Hiring is on a continuous basis until all positions are filled.
