l All stipulations of your Korean contract with us will be fully honored such
as severance, pension, and sick-day bonus.
l While at Queendom International School we will provide teachers with a
furnished single-room in a shared apartment, where another teacher will reside
in another room.
(Two teachers will share a kitchen and living room. Each teacher will have his/her own bed room and bathroom.)
Queendom International School will reimburse each employee with a set fee of
1million KRW upon their arrival in Korea. This is to cover all travel
expenses incurred on their inbound journey. In addition to this, each employee
will be given a set fee of 1 million KRW a fortnight prior to the teacher¡¯s contract completion date so that they can make their own travel arrangements to their desired destination.
(note: All employees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements
to and from South Korea. Any travel expenses that exceed the agreed total 2million KRW given to the employee by the employer should be covered by the
employee.)
Qualifications & Conditions:
1. Citizenship: A citizen of USA
2. Academic Background: at least 4 year University degree (BA or BS).
3. Major in University: Kindergarten, Elementary school education(with teacher
credentials)
4. Credentials/Experience:
Credentials: Hold or provide evidence of qualifying for valid teaching license
for appropriate positions.(kindergarten teacher or elementary teacher)
Elementary teacher credential which issued from U.S. is required.
Experience: Kindergarten/Elementary school teachers from U.S. with 2 years or
more teaching experience in the U.S. are preferred.
Character: Very positive, self-motivated, Patient, understanding and cooperative.
6. Contract Period: one year (12month) or two years (24month).(optional)
7. Additional conditions: Interest and ability in extracurricular activities
are preferred.
Ability to work with students of all ages
Ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff and administration
Willingness to develop a quality program for all students
Benefits:
1. Salary:
Teacher : 2.5 million Korean Won (total annual salary is approximately worth
$23,000 - $32,300 USD. *** excluding other benefits.)
FYI, Exchange-rate 1,300 Korean Won per 1 U.S Dollar is applied.
2. Housing:

3. Round trip travel expenses:
The airfare for Employee¡¯s flight to Korea shall be provided by Employer
based on an economy class airfare of the most direct flight available from
his/her permanent residence to Kimhae Airport.
All travel expenses will be reimbursed when you arrive in South Korea
according to the agreed contractual terms.
Queendom International School will reimburse each employee with KRW(Korean

4. Severance Pay: An additional 1 month salary will be paid upon completing an employment period of one year.
5. Working Environment: Brand new facilities with state-of-the-art equipment
within a luxury mega-condominium residence. Close to the beach in Busan, the second largest city in Korea which hosts: An annual International Film
Festival, Rock Festival at the beach, International Fireworks Festival, and
more.
6. Married couples with children: Children of married couples will receive
free tuition with Queendom's educational programs.
7. Medical Insurance/Pension: Queendom will contribute 50% toward the medical
insurance and pension for each teacher.(by regulation of the Korean laws)
8. Holidays: 10 days holiday in addition to all national holidays in Korea
*In addition to the above, certified teachers with appropriate credentials
will receive the following benefits: relocation allowance, professional
development allowance, paid sick/emergency leaves, and vacation.
